Good luck to all of the Wisconsin lifters going to Men’s Nationals in Philadelphia this weekend.
The Badger Open late registration period closed on Friday and there are 96 lifters registered! The tentative flight list has been posted online. This year there will be two platforms, one flight of bench only and 4 flights (times the two platforms) of three-lift lifters!
This year it looks like Joe Lewis is going to provide a live stream for both platforms, so if you have friends or family members lifting, but cannot make it to Neenah this weekend, you can still watch them lift.

The 26th Annual Hudson Natural Open will be help on November 1, 2014 in Hudson WI. Shawn Cain, meet director, is really on the ball this year and already has all of the meet information and registration form ready.

Schedule: 7:30A.M. to 9.A.M. Weigh-in and equipment check for all Women, Teens, Master Men and Master Women lifters. Both equipped and raw. Lifting begins at 9:30 A.M.
Weigh-in and equipment check for all Open or Raw Men to be from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. 2nd session lifting to begin at 12:30 PM.
NOTE: Weigh in time may vary from scheduled start time for 2nd session, depending on the number of lifters in first session.
Classes: Women, Men, Master Women, Master Men, Male and Female Teen, and Raw divisions for each. All divisions by formula.
Eligibility: All U.S.A. Powerlifting card holding members who have not used strength inducing drugs in the last 3 years (36 months), and prescription diuretics or banned stimulants in the 7 days prior to the contest. Membership cards will be available for purchase at the meet.
NOTE: High school lifters must purchase a full year membership.
This is a drug tested meet! Be careful what you ingest! Some supplements can cause drug test failures. Only IPF approved gear will be allowed.
Entry Fee: $50.00 first division, $30.00 each additional division (NO REFUNDS)

Entry Deadline: This meet will be limited to the first 60 entries received. Deadline is either October 18th , or the first 60 entries are received.
Awards: Awards will be given to the first three place finishers in each division. Teen, Women, Men, and Masters by formula, both geared, and RAW divisions.
The meet site for this competition is the Hudson House Grand Hotel. It is located on the south side of I-94 just north of Fleet Farm. Take Exit 2 off of I-94 and turn to the south onto Crestview Drive. If you are planning on staying at the hotel, please tell them you are there for the meet (discounted room rates). The Hudson House is a very nice hotel with a sauna, pool, whirlpool, restaurant and bar.
